Gerald “Bill” Walters, 90, of Colesburg, passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2014, at the Good Neighbor Home in Manchester.

Visitation will be from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 25, at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home, Edgewood, and one hour before services at the church.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m., on Thursday, June 26, at Colesburg United Methodist Church, Colesburg, conducted by Rev. Allen Craft.

Interment will be at Brown Cemetery, Colesburg.

Janet M. Klosterman

Janet M. Klosterman, 73, of Tripoli, died suddenly and unexpectedly on Sunday, June 15, 2014, at Unity Point Health/Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo.

Visitation was Friday, June 20, at Rettig Funeral Home in Tripoli and one hour before services at the church.

Funeral services were Saturday, June 21, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Waverly, conducted by Rev. David Schatz.

Burial was at Mt. Olivet (Pinhook) Cemetery of rural Sumner.

Robert N. LeGrand

Robert N. “Buck” LeGrand, 75, of Sunset Park Place in Dubuque and formerly of Holy Cross, died peacefully with his family at his side, Thursday, June 12, 2014, the same day his wife died just six years ago, at Sunset Park Place, Dubuque. 

Visitation was Sunday, June 15, at Kramer Funeral Home, Holy Cross.

Funeral services were Monday, June 16, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, conducted by Rev. Jose Comparan.

Burial was in the church cemetery.

Etha Geraldine “Gerry” Blank, 83, of Guttenberg passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2014, at the River Living Center in Guttenberg.

Visitation was before services at the funeral home.

A memorial service was Saturday, June 14, at the Garrity Funeral Home Chapel in Prairie du Chien, Wis., conducted by Rev. Pat Malanaphy.  

Gerry was born Nov. 27, 1930, in Chariton, the daughter of Clint and Stella (Steele) Foster.

Sheila Mae (Divis) Bolsinger, 73, of Colesburg, died peacefully Wednesday, June 4, 2014, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Visitation was before services at the Reiff Funeral Home in Dyersville.

Funeral services were Saturday, June 7, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Colesburg, conducted by Rev. Stephen A. Lundgren. Lector was Carol Simons. Ushers were Les Simons and Leo Roling.  Placing of the pall was done by Robert Bolsinger, Jeffery Bolsinger, Dawn Martin, Jennifer Hambright and Jammie Martin. Giftbearers were Chase Martin, Ryan Martin and Mellyssa Boyd.

Curtis Duanne Nuehring, 70, passed away May 28, 2014, at his home in Camden, Tenn.

A celebration of Curt’s life was Friday, June 6, at Farmersburg Community Center. He was interred at Swede Ridge Cemetery in Northeast Iowa.

Curtis was born on May 29, 1943, in Clayton County to Frederick and Vivian (Canoe) Nuehring.

Kenneth C. Neverman, 73, of Nappanee, Ind., died peacefully, after a long illness at 11:04 a.m., Thursday, May 29, 2014, at IU Health Goshen Hospital where he had been a patient for 1-½ weeks.

Visitation was Tuesday, June 3, at Thompson-Lengacher and Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee.

Graveside services followed at Union Center Cemetery, conducted by Rev. Byrl Shaver.

Kenneth was born April 2, 1941, in Monona, to Arno “Gus” and Helen (Hinman) Neverman.
