No hugs. Smiles and waves will have to do

B.A. Kennedy Elementary School teachers and staff lined the Wacouta Avenue sidewalk in front of the building June 4, sharing signs, smiles and wishes for a fantastic summer with their students. Families waved goodbye from a safe distance while slowly passing in vehicles. Some displayed signs and balloons also celebrating the official end to Prairie du Chien School District’s 2019-2020 school year. Around 50 vehicles drove by the school, some more than once even.
