Gerald Louis Horkheimer was born in Prairie du Chien, on Aug. 31, 1946, to parents Louis and Rita (Lorenz) Horkheimer. He graduated from Prairie du Chien High School with the class of 1964.

PdC riverfront wall gets upgrade
