Lieselotte 'Lu' Patnode

Lieselotte G. “Lu” Patnode, 94, of Prairie du Chien, passed away Thursday, Sept. 9, 2021, at Crossing Rivers Health. 

She was born Oct. 17, 1926, in Mannheim, Germany, the daughter of Daniel and Gertrud (Passler) Kaufmann. She married Donald Kenneth Patnode in Manheim, Germany, on April 11, 1947.

Death Notice: Lyle M. Ahles

Lyle M. Ahles, 92, of Prairie du Chien, passed peacefully on Monday, Sept. 6, 2021, at home surrounded by his family. Per Lyles’s request, there will be no formal funeral services. A family celebration of life will be planned for a later date. The Garrity Funeral Home, of Prairie du Chien, assisted the family.
