Wauzeka Boat Landing expansion wrapping up

Expansion of the Wauzeka boat landing is wrapping up, as blacktop was laid Tuesday, according to Mayor Gary Gundlach. A double ramp will be properly installed in the spring of 2022, allowing for two vessels to launch or dock simultaneously. There were some delays experienced this summer, specifically with regard to permits with the DNR and potential hazard to endangered species, Gundlach said. Rule Construction, of Dodgeville, completed the work, designed by Delta 3 Engineering, of Platteville. (Photo by Correne Martin)
