River Ridge’s Ethan Hunt stiff arms Mason Svendsen of Pecatonica-Argyle Saturday afternoon.

Logan Drone threw for four touchdowns Saturday.

River Ridge blanked visiting Pecatonica-Argyle 28-0 in high school football Saturday afternoon.

Logan Drone threw four touchdown passes as the Timberwolves improved to 3-1 on the season. 

Drone threw an 11-yard pass to Ethan Hunt with 6:04 to play in the first period and Will Cooley ran in the 2-point conversion to give River Ridge an 8-0 lead.

Braden Crubel caught a 19-yard scoring strike from Drone at the 1:11 mark of the first quarter and Cooley scored the 2-point play as the Timberwolves led 16-0 after one period.

Neither team scored in the second quarter on the overcast and windy day as River Ridge led at halftime 16-0.

Drone hooked up with Anthony Davis for an 81-yard TD pass with 4:25 to play in the third quarter to increase the lead to 22-0.

Crubel hauled in a 27-yard scoring pass from Drone with 7:15 to play in the game and the Timberwolves went on to seal the 28-0 victory.

River Ridge will next host Boscobel on Oct. 23.
