Robert D. Myers, Sr., 76, of Bagley, passed away Monday, Sept. 7, 2020, at Prairie Maison in Prairie du Chien, from complications due to glioblastoma.

He was born Sept. 8, 1943, as the fourth of six children born to Syble (nee Stocks) and John Myers. He was raised in Chicago, Ill., but moved to Prairie du Chien, in the mid 1970s. His most favorite thing was spending time fishing on any river he could find with his brothers and friends. He lived in Jasper, Ala., for awhile, but after the death of his life partner, Edna Murnane, he settled back in the Wisconsin area.

Bob is survived by his four children, Robert D. Myers, Jr., Connie (Michael) Brandt, Robin (Mitch) Fisher and Dennis Myers; grandchildren, Kayla Brandt, Chelsea Fisher, Kyle Brandt and Jordyn Fisher; one sister, Ann Maniscalco; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Many thanks go out to the hospice workers at Crossing Rivers Health and Prairie Maison for their unconditional care, comfort and support they provided over the last few months. These folks are true angels.

Cremation services have been provided by Martin Schwartz Funeral Home and Crematory in Bloomington. Private burial will be at Resthaven Cemetery, in Baxter, Ky.
