Bagley man arrested for methamphetamine possession

On March 11, the Crawford County Sheriff’s Department’s K-9 Unit initiated a traffic stop on a 2008 GMC Acadia being operated by Jason Udelhofen, 41, Bagley, in the township of Freeman. During the course of the traffic stop, the deputy observed Udelhofen to be exhibiting several indicators of the use of controlled substances. 

Udelhofen was asked to step out of the vehicle, at which time he attempted to conceal a small plastic bag containing several grams of crystal substance from the deputy. The bag was seized and later field tested positive for methamphetamine. A glass smoking device with brunt white residue was located in the vehicle. 

Udelhofen, who is currently on parole for possession of methamphetamine, was ultimately arrested for possession of methamphetamine, operating a motor vehicle with a restricted controlled substance (fourth offense), possession of methamphetamine paraphernalia and probation violation. 

Assisting the Crawford County Sheriff’s Department was Crossing Rivers Health and Probation and Parole.
