Prairie du Chien hosted Mauston for the regional quarterfinal match on Tuesday night. 

With a rowdy crowd of students, parents and fans, (not ready to see the season end) the Blackhawks were on the attack keeping the Golden Eagles on their heels. 

The Blackhawks took set one 25-15, and rode that momentum through the rest of the match, winning set two 25-19 and set three 25-15. 

Every player for the Blackhawks made contributions to the win. Brytta Sagedahl led the team in kills with 8, followed by Caitlin Pattison with 6, Emily Groom with 5, Kylee Weber and Lily Krahn with 3 each, Alexis Nolan and Gabby Toberman each with 2 and Kaitlyn Buenzli with 1. Emily Groom led the team in block kills with 2 solo blocks, Alexis Nolan had 1 solo block and 1 block assist, Hope Martin and Lily Krahn each had 1 block assist. The team had a total of 8 ace serves coming from Caitlin Pattison with 3, Lindsey Nicholson and Karli Myers each with 2 and Emily Groom with 1. Caitlin Pattison contributed 15 assists, Emily Groom had 9, Macey Banasik, Brytta Sagedahl and Karli Myers each had 1. 

The Blackhawks didn’t let much hit the floor on the defensive end. Caitlin Pattison led the team in digs with 8, Emily Groom with 5, Brytta Sagedahl with 4, Lindsey Nicholson with 3, Karli Myers with 2 and Kaitlyn Buenzli, Macey Banasik, Mackenzie Pettit, Teri Ziegler, Keya Welch, Gabby Toberman and Lily Krahn each with 1. What a great win for Blackhawk Volleyball. Congratulations girls!
