Christopher Wayne Light, 28, formerly of Prairie du Chien, a 2008 graduate, passed away unexpectedly in a tragic automobile accident on Oct. 11.

He was born Feb. 12, 1990, to the parents of Troy Light, of Prairie du Chien, and Heidi Light, of Boscobel.

Chris lived with his wife Alicia in Rockwell, Iowa. Chris enjoyed playing his guitar and going to concerts, such as Ozzy and Rush, and loved to watch his Packer and Brewer games. He also loved to work on cars and enjoyed hunting and fishing. People always said Chris had a big heart and was a very forthright, conscientious person. Anyone who truly knew and loved him will miss him dearly and he will remain in their hearts forever. Chris is survived by his parents, Troy and Heidi Light; his loving wife Alicia (Holland) Light; siblings Zachary and Samantha Light; parents-in-law, Alice and Ronnie Holland, of Rockwell, Iowa; grandparents, Pat and Roger Young, of Union Grove, and Mary Jane Brunet, also of Union Grove; and many other aunts, uncles and cousins, and beloved friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at South Side Church of Christ, 1933 West Grange Milwaukee, WI 53221, with the celebration held Saturday, Oct. 20, from 4 to 7 p.m. We hope you can attend and celebrate Christopher’s life that ended far too early.
