Accident occurs at end of Boscobel bridge

On Friday, Aug. 10, at 6:14 p.m., the Crawford County Sheriff’s Department was notified of a two-vehicle accident with no blockage and no injuries at the end of the Boscobel Bridge at the intersection of Highway 61 and Highway 60.

Judy Davison, 68, Dubuque, was pulling out from the stop sign at Highway 61/60 to make a right turn to head northbound on Highway 61 in a 2018 Subaru.  

Miranda Stelmach, 24, Bettendorf, Iowa, was behind the Davison vehicle in a 2015 Kia, also making a right turn to head north on Highway 61.  

The Stelmach vehicle rear-ended the Davison vehicle. Both vehicles sustained minor damage and were able to be driven from the scene. Stelmach was issued a citation for auto following to close.
