Drake Coleman has been selected to the American Legion All Star Team.

 

For only the third time since 1987, a member of Prairie du Chien's American Legion Baseball Team will be playing in the All Star Game. The Grasshoppers' catcher, Drake Coleman, was selected to join 94 other Legion players for those special games. As a catcher, Drake's consistent play and hitting earned him this honored spot with the All Stars.

Coleman will join the other All Star players who will then divide into teams and play after the Brewers versus the Rockies game on Sunday, Aug. 5 at Miller Park.

A Warco Transportation Tour bus is already sold out with Hoppers' supporters who will travel to the games.

The Prairie du Chien Grasshoppers team is coached by Nate Cejka and sponsored by American Legion Post 68.
