Eileen M. Schiffman, 82, passed away on Saturday, June 16, at Grant Regional Health Center in Lancaster. 

She was born March 1, 1936, in Bagley, the daughter of John and Hazel (Quinn) Champion. Eileen attended Bagley High school. She married Donald Schiffman on Sept. 10, 1967. Eileen worked alongside her husband as co-owner and caretaker of the River of Lakes Campground for over thirty years. She enjoyed camping and visiting the local casinos. She liked a good game of cards and loved playing cards and board games with her grandkids. 

She is survived by her husband, Donald; two daughters Shelli (Rick) McLimans and Sue (Mick) Redman; six grandchildren Amber (Brian) Zart, Adam (Bethany) McLimans, Tara (Matt) Adams, Wendy (Cody) Kirschbaum, Eric (Alie) Redman and Jamie (Garrett Knapp) Redman; nine great-grandchildren; a brother, Roger (Diane) Champion; a sister-in-law Sally Champion; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Eileen was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Ronald Champion.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, June 19, at Zion Lutheran Church, in Bagley with Rev. Pamela Strakeljahn officiating. Burial will be in the Bagley Cemetery. Friends and family may call on Tuesday, June 19, at Zion Lutheran Church from 9 a.m. until the time of service at the church. In lieu of plants and flowers, an Eileen M. Schiffman Memorial Fund has been established. The Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory in Bloomington is entrusted with her services.
