Seneca girls best Weston

Seneca hosted Weston in conference softball action on Monday, May 7. 

Seneca took the lead in the bottom of the first with Emily Garfoot getting on with a triple to right. Garfoot would then steal home to score the lone run of the inning. 

Seneca would add more runs in the bottom of the third with Kennedi Smith getting on base with an infield hit and scoring on a double to center by Emily Garfoot. Garfoot would then score on Weston errors. Alivia Salinas would then get on with a single to left and score on a triple to left by Haley Wall. Wall would score on a single to center by Michelle Clark. Clark would score on a triple to right by Makenna Greene and Greene would score on a double to left by Nicky Trautsch. 

The bottom of the fourth would add a few more runs for Seneca with Emily Garfoot leading by getting on with a single to right, stealing second and getting third on a passed ball. Alivia Salinas would get on with a walk and steal second. Both Garfoot and Salinas would score on a triple to right by Haley Wall. Wall would then steal home. Taylor Sime would get on with a walk and steal second and third. Sime would score on a single to center by Makenna Greene to make the final score after 5 innings, 11-0.

Seneca will next travel to North Crawford on May 10, and then to Ithaca on May 11.
