Prairie du Chien hosted Richland Center and River Valley in a triangular track meet Tuesday afternoon.
On the girls side, the final results are as follows: Prairie du Chien (84 points), Richland Center (56 points) and River Valley (44 points).
Hailey Bedward got the girls off to a good start by taking 2nd in the 100m and 2nd in the 4x100 (Boxrucker, Meyers, Teynor) as well as picking up a 4th in the 200m. Ella Hein picked up a 1st in the 1600m as well as a 2nd in the 3200m. Greta Hein picked up a 3rd in the 1600m as well as a 3rd in the 300 low hurdles. Dominique Reilly picked up a 3rd in the 3200m, 2nd in the 400m, as well as a 1st in the 3200m relay (Huser, Jaynes, Hager). Mariah Regal also placed 3rd in the 400m as well helping her 4x400 relay (Straka, Seputis, Schneider) to a 2nd place finish. The 4x200 relay team of Meyers, Jenks, Schneider and Teynor picked up a 2nd. Faith Dillman picked up a 1st in 100HH, and a 1st in 300LH. Lindsey Nicholson picked up a 4th in 100HH as well. Karly Jaynes snagged a 1st in the 800m with Hager grabbing a 2nd and Alyssa Straka securing a 3rd place finish as well as a “PR-2:51.9” in the 800m. In the shot put, PdC hauled in 3 of the top 4 spots with Gabby Ritchie grabbing 1st place, Megan Berntgen 2nd place and Alexis Nolan 4th place. In discus, Megan Berntgen snagged a 1st place with a “PR-104’8”, Gabby Ritchie took 2nd place and Ally Krogan brought in a 4th place to round out the throwers. Finally, Maya Trautsch picked up a 4th place in pole vault.
On the boys side, the final results are as follows: River Valley (73 points), Prairie du Chien (67 points) and Richland Center (40 points).
Preston Hendrix started the evening off with a 1st place finish in 100m. Ben Teynor continued the great start with a solid 1st place finish in the 400m and “PR-55.06” and a 2nd place in triple jump. Isaac Nichols picked up a 3rd in the 400m “PR-59.00” with Jarrett DeBruin grabbing a 4th place in the 400m “PR-59.50” as well as 3rd in pole vault. Jackson DeBruin made 6’0” in the pole vault for a “PR” as well as Blake Garcia picking up a 2nd in pole vault and helping his 4x400 relay team (DeBruin, Kramer, Nichols) to a 1st place finish and a new “PR-3:53.38”. Mason Kramer picked up a 1st in the 1600m, and a 4th in the high jump. Jonah Hornseth picked up a 2nd in the high jump, a 2nd in the 4x100 relay (Nettesheim, Velasco, Gourdin), and a 2nd in the 4x200 relay (Nettesheim, Velasco, Nichols). Weston Hill picked up a 2nd in the 1600m and a 1st in the 800m. Stephen Ronnfeldt picked up a 2nd in the 110HH, 3rd in the discus, and 1st in the shot put. Luke Wright snagged a 2nd in the shot put and 2nd in the discus. Ray Slawinski ‘PR’d in shot (30’73/4”) as well as discus (66’9”). Sam Fernburg also “PR’d-35’9” in the shot. Also on the afternoon, Ryan Drinkwine had a nice 400m with a “PR-1:05.37”.
