The annual Clayton County Dairy banquet will be held on Friday, April 6, at Johnson’s Reception Hall in Elkader. Tickets will be available at the door. The banquet meal will be served at 7 p.m. with the program beginning at 8 p.m.

The banquet program includes the presentation of the county’s distinguished dairy producer, outstanding young dairy producer, and senior dairy producer awards.  

The program will conclude with the crowning of the Clayton County Dairy Princess, Little Miss Squirt, and Junior Dairymen. Scholarship recipients will also be recognized. 

Candidates for Dairy Princess are Brianna Lucey of Guttenberg and Tess Hilgerson of Elkader. Little Miss Squirt candidates are Jennifer Smith of Guttenberg and Crystal Goodrich of St. Olaf. Junior Dairymen candidates are Joseph Eglseder of Edgewood, Blake Hunt of Elkader, Cameron Moeller of Postville, and Kody Moeller of Postville.
