Mary Jean Standiford
Mary Jean Standiford, 85, of Prairie du Chien, died Tuesday, March 6, at her home in Prairie du Chien.
She was born May 27, 1932, in Grand Forks, N.D. Mary Jean graduated from High School in Grand Forks, N.D.
Mary Jean was united in marriage with Milton Kenneth Standiford on July 3, 1955, in Chicago. Together they moved to Prairie du Chien, and adopted Steven when he was four years old. Mary Jean worked for a short time as a nurse before becoming a General Manager at McGregor Loudspeaker. She enjoyed technology and was very good with computers. Mary Jean loved her grandpup, Tuffy.
Mary Jean is survived by her, Steve Ingle, of Prairie du Chien; two grandchildren, Kenneth Ingle and Kyle Ingle; and one cousin-in-law, Janice Radloff.
Mary Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Milton; and one son, James Nagle.
Funeral Service will be at 2 p.m., Sunday, March 11, at Thornburg-Grau Funeral Home, Prairie du Chien, with Rev. Andy Doll as the Officiant. There will also be a one hour visitation before services at the funeral home on Sunday. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Prairie du Chien. Thornburg-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Prairie du Chien, is helping the family with arrangements.
