Car goes over guardrail, embankment
On Monday, Feb. 12, at 11 a.m., the Crawford County Dispatch Center was notified of a one-vehicle crash with injuries and property damage on Highway 61 in the township of Clayton near Bell Center Road.
Madison M. Dull, 17, Boscobel, was southbound on Highway 61 in a 2010 Chrysler Sebring. Dull said, after negotiating a curve, there was a deer in the roadway. Dull swerved to miss the deer, went off the west shoulder, struck the guardrail end, and continued over the west embankment before coming to rest in a wooded area.
Dull claimed injuries from the crash and was transported to the Boscobel Emergency Room for treatment of her injuries. The Dull vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.
Assisting the Crawford County Sheriff’s Department on scene were the Boscobel Fire Department, Boscobel EMS, Scott Township First Responders, Crawford County Highway Department and Fry’s Towing.
