Bernard L. Sutton
Bernard L. Sutton, 82, passed away unexpectedly on Oct. 16, at his home in Colorado Springs, Colo.
He was born Oct. 6, 1935, in Seneca, the eldest child of LaVern and Albena Sutton. Bernard graduated from B.A. Kennedy High School in 1954 and soon after joined the U.S. Air Force.
After serving in Korea, Bernard chose a career with the Air Force and served under the Secretary of Defense at the Pentagon, and with the Presidential Unit at Andrews Air Force Base.
After his retirement from the Air Force in 1974, Bernard worked in civil service for the Security and Exchange Commission, and VA Medical Centers in Wisconsin and Colorado.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Kathryn; three sons, Clyde, Vincent, and John; two daughters, Ramona and Regina; and grandchildren.
