On Monday, Sept. 25, at 7 p.m., the Crawford County American Legion will again hold its annual flag disposal program. This program is held in conjunction with the legion’s annual meeting.

The William Schoville Post 220 of Soldiers Grove will sponsor the program this year in Soldiers Grove.

Ken McCormick, Crawford County American Legion commander, asks all Crawford County residents who have or are flying American Flags to take a look at them and, if they are worn or tattered, please turn them in so they can be properly retired.

Old, worn flags may be left with any American Legion member or at the Crawford County Veterans Service Office, before Friday, Sept. 22.
