Randall Dennler, 58, of Lincoln, NE, formerly of Elkader, Iowa died Sunday, August 13, 2017, at Monarch Hospice House in Lincoln. Randy was born September 19, 1958 to LaVern L. and Ivanelle E. “Ivy” (Erickson) Dennler and grew up in Elkader, Iowa. He graduated from Central Community High School, Elkader, and earned an Ag Business degree from Kirkwood Community College. Randy enjoyed spending time with friends and family, and was an avid Chicago Bears football fan. His greatest joy was his daughter, Randi, who he dearly loved.

Randy is survived by his daughter, Randi (Travis) Langan of Pittsburgh,PA; a sister, Rebbecca (Layne) Tielbar of Schuyler, NE; and two brothers, Rick (Glennda) Dennler of Elkader, and Ron (Nancy) Dennler of Farmersburg, IA; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Randy was preceded in death by his father, LaVern Dennler, and mother, Ivanelle Dennler.

Visitation was held from 9-11 a.m. on Friday, August 18, 2017, at Leonard-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Elkader, Iowa.

A Celebration of Life Service was held at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 18, 2017, at Leonard-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Elkader. Burial followed at Elgin Cemetery.
