Motorcycles collide
On Sunday, July 23, at 4:14 p.m., the Crawford County Dispatch Center was notified of a two-motorcycle crash on State Highway 35 near the Liquor Box Bar.
Thomas Licht, 51, Prairie du Chien, was driving a 2001 Harley Davidson north on Highway 35 when a 2006 Harley Davidson driven by Roger Herman, 68, Mason City, Iowa, made a left turn in front of Licht. The two motorcycles collided causing both Licht and Herman to sustained cuts and bruises. Both were transported to Crossing Rivers Health in Prairie du Chien.
Both motorcycles sustained disabling damage and were towed.
Herman was cited for failure to yield while making a left turn.
Assisting at the scene were the Tri-State Ambulance, Mar-Mac Ambulance, Eastman First Responders, Eastman Fire Department and Milo’s Towing.
