Two arrested in meth bust
In the early morning hours of July 2, the Crawford County Sheriff’s Department K-9 Unit was patrolling on Highway 171 and observed a suspicious vehicle parked at the West Ridge Orchard. The deputy made contact with Kimberly Sheehan, 47, Viroqua. Sheehan stated she had just left the residence of Julie Knoble, 32, Gays Mills. Both Sheehan and Knoble are on active bond for possession of methamphetamine in Crawford County and it was discovered that both were violating their bond conditions. Sheehan was placed under arrest for felony bail jumping.
A deputy then went to the residence of Julie Knoble who was found to be in possession of two separate baggies of crystal methamphetamine, several methamphetamine smoking devices, a digital scale and several plastic baggies. Sheehan’s purse was also at the residence and several methamphetamine smoking devices, a digital scale, several plastic baggies with white crystal substance and marijuana were located in the purse.
Knoble and Sheehan were both arrested and transported to the Crawford County Jail.
Sheehan faces possible charges of two counts of possession of methamphetamine paraphernalia, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and felony bail jumping.
Knoble faces possible charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine paraphernalia and probation violation.
