Stanley Neil Koehn, 69, of Guttenberg, died Wednesday, May 24, 2017, at his home surrounded by his family.

Funeral services were Saturday, May 27, at the United Methodist Church, Guttenberg, conducted by Rev. Penny Hansel. Visitation was before services at the church.

Inurnment was at Bethel Cemetery, Osterdock.

Arrangements were handled by Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home, Guttenberg.

Stanley was born on Nov. 7, 1947, the son of Harley and Evelyn Koehn.

Stanley received his education in Guttenberg where he graduated with the class of 1966.  He served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Ranger during the Vietnam War and the Pueblo Incident.  He received an honorable discharge on Oct. 12, 1970, with many commendations.  In September 1971, Stan was united in marriage with Wynette Moser in Guttenberg and the two were blessed with two adorable children. 

For many years, Stanley worked for the Clayton County Secondary Roads Department until his retirement. Stanley had a great talent for wood working and when he wasn’t tinkering in his shop, he enjoyed playing golf with friends especially the annual Chili Dipper, hunting with buddies and spending time with his family. 

  Stanley is survived by his wife, Wynette Koehn; two children, Trevor (Melissa) Koehn and Malissa Koehn (Jeff Barnes); twograndchildren, Brett and Kaitlyn Koehn; siblings, Dennis (Susan) Koehn, Carol Miller and many other relatives and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers-in-law, Dan Boge and Buddy Miller. 

In lieu of flowers and plaques send donations to the Guttenberg Ambulance Service or Clayton Ridge Dollar for Scholars.
