Area teams compete in Sparky Reynolds Invitational

The Prairie du Chien, Seneca, Wauzeka-Steuben and River Ridge track and field teams competed in the Sparky Reynolds Invitational in Boscobel on Friday afternoon. 

Prairie du Chien was fifth in the girls’ meet with 41 points. Wauzeka-Steuben tied for sixth with 39 points. River Ridge was 14th with 21.5 points. Twenty teams competed.

Prairie du Chien won the boys’ meet with 81 points. Wauzeka-Steuben was 15th with 14 points. River Ridge was 19th with 6 points. Twenty-one teams competed.

Scorers for the girls included Allison Oswald of Wauzeka-Steuben who took sixth in the 200 in 28.08. 

Karli Jandro of River Ridge was seventh in the 200 in 28.17.

Jandro was sixth in the 400 in 1:03.86. 

Tatem Baures of Wauzeka-Steuben won the 1600 in 5:27.45.

Baures won the 3200 in 11:53.35. 

Cherish Marfilius of Wauzeka-Steuben was sixth in the 3200 in 13:52.96. 

Oswald was fourth in the 100 hurdles in 18.08. 

Oswald was second in the 300 hurdles in 50.22. 

River Ridge was eighth in the 400 relay in 55.5 (Allison Ploessly, Katie DeVoss, Ashton Marshall, Faith Schier). 

River Ridge was second in the 3200 relay in 10:24.52 (Skylar White, Rachael Herrick, Taylor Langmeier, Schier). 

White was seventh in the pole vault at 8-6. 

Rebecca Breuer of River Ridge was eighth in the pole vault at 8-0. 

White was fourth in the triple jump at 30-10.5. 

In the boys’ meet, Drew Zimmerman of Wauzeka-Steuben was sixth in the 110-meter hurdles in 17.72. 

Zimmerman was seventh in the 300 hurdles in 44.20. 

Zimmerman was fourth in the high jump at 5-11. 

Isaac White of River Ridge was seventh in the high jump at 5-8. 

Bryan Maring of River Ridge was fifth in the shot put at 42-8.5.
