Prairie boys easily 

handle River Valley

Prairie du Chien bested visiting River Valley 64-35 in an SWC boys basketball game Thursday on Senior Night. 

Prairie built a 32-19 lead at halftime and then took the second half 32-16.

Wesley Schwager pumped in 15 points to pace Prairie. Nathan Banasik netted 9 and Jonathan Dyer scored 8. 

Prairie du Chien improved to 20-2 on the season and 10-0 in the SWC. Prairie is the conference champion.

Top seeded Prairie du Chien will host the winner of ninth seeded River Valley and eighth seeded Richland Center in a WIAA Division 3 Regional game on March 3. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m.
