Miners 

over Lady Hornets

Shullsburg defeated host Wauzeka-Steuben 64-38 in a nonconference girls basketball game Monday night. 

The Miners built a 30-13 halftime advantage en route to the win. 

Tatem Baures led the Lady Hornets with 8 points. Molly Heisz added 7 points. Sienna Krachey chipped with 4 points and hauled down 7 rebounds.

Wauzeka-Steuben is now 12-7 on the season.

Shullsburg is 17-3 overall.

Wauzeka-Steuben will next host La Farge on Feb. 17.
