"Hidden in Plain Sight" exhibit coming to Guttenberg Feb. 15
“Hidden in Plain Sight” is a unique, interactive exhibit which will to open to the public from 3 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 15, at Clayton Ridge High School in Guttenberg during parent/teacher conferences.
The event is hosted by the 5C Coalition (Clayton County Community Collaboration Council) and will bring adults into a mock teenager bedroom. The adults will explore the exhibit, identifying indicators of substance abuse and other risky behaviors.
After spending time in the exhibit area, knowledgeable law enforcement will be on hand to answer questions and point out items that may have been missed. Resources available to address adolescent behaviors will also be available. Youth are not allowed unless with a parent/guardian.
5C is a community-based coalition working throughout Clayton County to address substance abuse. The coalition meets monthly and collaborates with many community partners to provide education and awareness activities. All community members are welcome to attend and provide input or plan awareness activities.
