Monona woman charged with possession of meth

A 24-year-old Monona, Iowa woman has been charged in Crawford County Circuit Court with one count of possession of methamphetamine and one count of operating a motor vehicle while revoked.
Taylor M. Knockel faces up to 4.5 years in prison and $12,500 in fines if convicted of both counts.
According to the criminal complaint, a Crawford County Sheriff’s deputy made a traffic stop on the Knockel vehicle. Knockel was arrested for driving after revocation and transported to the Crawford County Law Enforcement Center.
A search of Knockel’s purse revealed a plastic baggie containing meth, the complaint said.
