Mary Helen Ingles, 58, of Garber, died Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2016, at the University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City, after a sudden illness.

Visitation was Friday, Sept. 30, at Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home, Guttenberg, and one hour before services at the church.

Funeral services were Saturday, Oct. 1, at St. John's Congregational Church, Garber, conducted by Rev. Pam Reinig.

Interment was at Mt. Harmony Cemetery, Elkport.

Mary was born in Prairie du Chien, Wis., on Aug. 9, 1958, the daughter of Raymond and Helen Storbeck. 

Mary graduated from the Central Community High School with the class of 1976. She was united in marriage with Ronnie Ingles on March 6, 1976. For many years, Mary worked as an embroiderer for both Lands' End and for Cabela’s and she also worked for Johnson’s in Elkader. Mary enjoyed fishing, spending time in her garden and working with her flowers. She enjoyed a good game of poker, dealers choice, rummy and was famous for her cooking but most of all, she enjoyed the time she spent with her family and friends. 

Mary will be forever loved and cherished by her husband, Ronnie; sons, Mike (Mandy) Ingles and Brian (Taneasha) Ingles; grandchildren, Macy, Miles, Masyn, Layla, Cecilia and Alexis; mother, Helen Storbeck; siblings, John (Lois), George (Sandy) and Susan (Rick); brother-in-law, David (Penny) Ingles; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond; mother and father-in-law, Dorothy and Phillip Ingles; sister-in-law, Maggie Ingles and brother-in-law, Jimmy Ingles.
