defeat Lady Hawks
The Prairie du Chien Blackhawks took on Dodgeville Tuesday night for Parents’ Night.
The freshmen-sophomore team won the first set, really coming together as a team. Then they lost the next two. The varsity reserve went 3-0 over Dodgeville, showing great teamwork.
The varsity started their match down 11-1 in the first set but came back to within 3 before losing the set in the end.
Prairie du Chien was up on Dodgeville 18-16 in the second set but some hard serving by Dodgeville proved to be too much for Prairie du Chien.
Prairie du Chien lost the match three games to none.
Kylee Weber led the Blackhawks with 6 kills. Cailtin Pattison had 12 assists and 3 service aces.
“This team is young but growing as a team with every match they play,” said Coach Linda Redman.
The final scores for each varsity set were 25-17, 25-18 and 25-14.
