Freda M.E. Reynolds, age 90, of Richland Center, formerly of Boscobel, died on Tuesday, Sept. 13, at Harvest Guest House, in Richland Center.

She was born on April 15, 1926, at Halls Branch, Crawford County, to Joseph and Freda (Adams) Zajicek. She attended school at Reynolds country school, where her future husband William Reynolds also taught school. She graduated from Boscobel High School. She was married on Feb. 6, 1948, at the Methodist Church in Boscobel to William Reynolds, and he preceded her in death on Sept. 1, 2004.

She was a member of Maple Ridge Bible Church in Boscobel where she was organist and church secretary for many years. She also loved to teach Sunday school and Bible school.

Freda is survived by her three children, Janeen (Daniel) Derrickson, of Muscoda; Jane Werthwein, of La Crosse; and Larry Reynolds, of Bagley; grandchildren, Grant Reynolds, Holy (Jason) Buchen, Shana (Dennis) Chapel, Joelle (Jared) Mecca; great grandchildren, Dion, Shale, Somerset, Mars Chapel and William and Bergen Buchen. She is also survived by sister-in-law, Ilyf Reynolds and Martha Zajicek, of Boscobel. She also leaves many cat friends and a few dogs.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, William, brothers, Joseph Jr. and Gerald, and a son-in-law, Percy Werthwein.

Services will be held on Saturday, Sept. 17, at 11 a.m. at Maple Ridge Bible Church with Pastor Noel Mayes officiating. A private burial will follow at Pioneer Cemetery.
