Duane Pritchard, 51, of Guttenberg, died Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2016, at Crossing Rivers Health in Prairie du Chien, Wis.

Visitation was Friday, Aug. 12, at Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home, Guttenberg.

Graveside services were Saturday, Aug. 13, at Bethel Cemetery, Osterdock, conducted by Rev. Harold McMillin.

Duane was born in Elkader on Sept. 1, 1964, the son of Richard and Frances Pritchard.

Duane received his education locally and farmed for most of his life. He did work for the Iowa Pipeline and Carlson’s Construction, but he kept on farming while working for both of those companies. Duane enjoyed attending and helping out at Plagman Barn, sightseeing, collecting toy tractors and attending farm sales because it gave him the opportunity to visit with people which he enjoyed immensely. Duane was also a member of the Northeast Iowa Farm and Antique Association.

Those left to cherish his memory are Duane’s mother, Frances; two children, Samantha (Brandon) Bailey and Zach Ross; three grandsons, Carter, Connor and Canton Bailey; four siblings, Kevin (Lori) Pritchard, Craig (Tammy) Pritchard, Larry (Jennifer) Prichard and Lynette (Jason) Pritchard; Max the dog and many nieces, nephews and many many friends.

Duane was preceded in death by his father and son, Anthony.
