One arrested in theft cases, investigation continues
A local man was taken into custody in connection with multiple thefts from vehicles around the city of Prairie du Chien since the week of July 25, according to the Prairie du Chien Police Department.
Investigations into the thefts were ongoing for weeks and, as a result of interviews with victims, witnesses and suspects, officers arrested Brandon Konicheck, 22, of Prairie du Chien, on Friday, Aug. 12. Police Chief Chad Abram said Konichek was taken to the Crawford County Jail, where he will face theft charges.
