The Seneca High School softball team easily defeated visiting Kickapoo 14-9 in a Ridge and Valley contest Friday afternoon.

Seneca improved its record to 15-8 overall and 10-4 in conference action.

Kickapoo fell to 3-14 on the season and 2-11 in the Ridge and Valley.

Seneca will next host Wonewoc-Center in a nonconference game May 24.
