Norma L. Brown
Norma L. Brown, 93, of Bloomington passed away Thursday, Jan. 7, at the Prairie Maison Care Center.
She was born Sept., 16, 1922 in Bagley, the daughter of Jesse and Iva (Gelstrup) McCollough, where she spent most of her child-hood years. She married Delbert Brown on June, 17, 1939. They lived in Bloomington, all their married life. Delbert preceded her in death on Oct. 14, 1985.
She is survived by her children, Sandra (Fred) Key of Prairie du Chien, Brenda Crubel of Bloomington, Robert (Vivian) Brown of Poplar Grove, Ill., and William (Barbara) Brown of Osage, Wyo.; thirteen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three sisters; two brothers; and a son-in-law Dennis Crubel.
Funeral services will be held privately at a later date, with inurnment in the Bloomington Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Bloomington Fire Department, the Bloomington Rescue Squad, or the Bloomington American Legion. The Garrity Funeral Home of Prairie d Chien is assisting the family.
