Candidates file for city offices

In municipal elections slated for Tuesday, Nov. 3, Guttenberg voters will go to the polls to fill two seats on the city council, two on the park board and three on the hospital board.
City council: In an uncontested race, Austin Greve and Justin Trappe are running for two open seats on the city council. Incumbents Virginia Saeugling and Jane Parker, whose terms expire at the end of the year, did not file for re-election.
Park Board: Candidates for two open seats are Beth Sadewasser and incumbent Mary Streich. Incumbent Jim Johnston did not seek another term.
Hospital Board: In a contested race, five candidates have filed for three seats: Incumbent Bill Allyn, Janice Andregg, James Feudner, Karen Merrick and Jim Solomon. Incumbents Mary Eulberg and Penny Hansel did not seek re-election.
