Ann E. Rowe, 95, of Prairie du Chien and formerly of Chippewa Falls, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 16, at Crossing Rivers Health. 

She was born July 28, 1920 in Bloomer, WI the daughter of William and Esther (Ruff) Lendle. She married Buford Rowe on Sept. 7, 1939. He preceded her in death on Jan. 20, 1984. 

She is survived by her daughters, Karen (Cy) Morovits of Edgerton, Kathleen Swatek of Eastman, Arlene (Ron) Trautsch of Prairie du Chien and Jan Troutman of Chippewa Falls; her son David Rowe of Chippewa Falls; her siblings, Sister Francis of Milwaukee, Louise Miller of Griffin, Ga., Gene Lendle of Bruce, Wis.; a step-sister Marita Burguss of Bloomer; nineteen grandchildren; forty-two great grandchildren; and fifteen great great grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her husband; an infant son Dennis; a son Jack; a daughter-in-law Judy; two sons-in-law, Jr. and Terry; a grandson Andy; and two great grandsons, Braedyn and Ryan.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, Sept. 21, at 1 p.m. at St. Gabriel’s Church of the Holy Family Parish in Prairie du Chien, Rev. James Weighner officiating with burial on Tuesday, Sept. 22, at 11 a.m. in the Forest Hills Cemetery in Chippewa Falls. Friends may call at the church on Monday, Sept. 21, from 11 a.m. until the time of services. The Garrity Funeral Home of Prairie du Chien is assisting the family.
