Margaret Aileen Perample (Marousek), a long-time resident of Tustin, Calif., passed away on June 30. She was 83 years old.

Peggy was born Dec. 31, 1931 in Prairie du Chien, to Joseph and Margaret Marousek. She graduated from Prairie du Chien High School in 1949, and attended the nursing program at Marquette University for two years. Peggy married John Perample on Feb. 3, 1951 at St. John’s Catholic Church in Prairie du Chien.

Peggy is survived by her husband, John; sons Mark and Andrew. She was blessed with six grandchildren, Neil, Nick, Amanda, Stephanie, Laura and Andrew; and eight great-grandchildren, Rowan, Karis, Tyler, Domenick, Nathan, Emily, Benjamin and Lucas. She was preceded in death by her parents and sons, Matthew and Daniel.

Peggy was a long-time member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church, where she volunteered her time and talents on the Altar Society and the arts and crafts group. She was actively supportive of the Serra Club, the Knights of Columbus, and various civic activities in Tustin. Peggy was the protector of our family traditions and rich history.

Services have been arranged through Saddleback Chapel in Tustin. A Rosary service will take place at Saddleback Chapel on Thursday, July 9, at 7 p.m. A funeral Mass is scheduled at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Tustin, on Friday, July 10 at 8:30 a.m., with burial immediately following at the Cemetery of the Holy Sepulcher in Orange, Calif..
