Solo tandem bicyclists, Peter and Tracy Flucke of WE BIKE, etc., LLC, plan to continue their bicycle adventures in 2015. After successfully bicycling 4,362.5 miles across the country in 2014 (WE BIKE Across America Blog) the couple is excited to announce their next adventures.

For their first trip, which began on June 22 and will run through July 1, the Fluckes are partnering with the Fox-Wisconsin Heritage Parkway. “The ride will be approximately 600 miles round trip from Green Bay to Prairie du Chien and will highlight the Parkway’s history, places of interest and partners, as well as “pioneering a land-based route” said Peter Flucke.

The group will begin its journey to the area on Friday, June 26, from Spring Green. That night, they will stay at Wyalusing State Park. Then, on Saturday, June 27, the group will bike the 11 remaining miles into Prairie du Chien where they will take a historic tour featuring the Fort Crawford Museum, the Villa Louis Mansion, Washington Street Park and St. Feriole Island Park. They will depart from Prairie du Chien on Sunday, June 28.

The Fox–Wisconsin Heritage Parkway, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, works with communities along the Fox and Lower Wisconsin rivers to celebrate and preserve our rich and varied river heritage while promoting vibrant and connected riverfront towns and villages.

The Flucke’s will blog and Facebook daily during their trips. During their 2014 cross country trip they had 6,000 organic followers.
