On Tuesday, June 9, at 8:30 a.m., the Crawford County Sheriff’s Department was notified of a one-vehicle rollover crash on Trout Creek Road approximately two tenths of a mile east of Pansy Lane in the township of Clayton.

Baylee J. Grimsled, 16, of Soldiers Grove, was traveling west on Trout Creek Road when she lost control of her 2001 Chrysler Concorde due to the loose gravel in the roadway. Grimsled lost control, went into the north side shoulder, over corrected, crossed both lanes of travel and struck the embankment causing the vehicle to overturn.

Grimsled claimed no injuries from the crash but was transported to Vernon Memorial Hospital for a medical evaluation. The vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene by Sleepy Hollow Towing.
Assisting the Crawford County Sheriff’s Department were North Crawford Rescue Squad, Soldiers Grove Fire Department and Sleepy Hollow Towing.
