PdC Plan Commission approves Leisure Time outdoor seating area upgrade

A meeting of the City of Prairie du Chien Plan Commission was held on Tuesday, June 2, at City Hall in Prairie du Chien.

The major item on the table during the meeting was the approval of an addition to the Leisure Time Sports Bar and Bowl on Marquette Road. Leisure Time was requesting a Conditional Use Permit to expand their existing conditional use (tavern/bowling alley) in a B-2 Highway Commercial Zoning District for purposes of a fenced outdoor seating area.

The permit they were seeking would not permit outdoor music without further review and approval by the Planning Commission.

The motion for approval was made by Tom Nelson and seconded by Dan Key. The approval for the initial permit was unanimously approved.
