Evelyn was united in married to Wintfred Reeves on June 30, 1951, in Waterloo; he preceded her in death on Jan. 31, 1989. She lovingly showered them with her chocolate chip cookies and friendship. Evelyn was a wonderful cook, especially known for her chocolate chip cookies; macaroni salad, potato salad and Texas delight dessert.

Fred Schoepske was a very special companion to Evelyn for the last 14 years. They enjoyed visiting family, going out to eat and shopping. The family would like to thank Brenda Roth, who was a good friend and caregiver to Evelyn for the last year.
