Two charged in connection to Monona thefts

The Monona Police Department filed charges at the Clayton County Court House in Elkader on Tuesday, July 29, in connection to multiple burglaries and thefts that have occurred in Monona, stemming from April 2014. Charged were Adrian Joe, III, 21, formerly of Monona, and Austin Douglas Ihde, 18, of Monona.

Joe was arrested in Postville the week before for a probation violation and is currently being held in the Allamakee County Jail on that charge. He will be transferred to the Clayton County Jail to appear on multiple burglary charges once his court proceedings are finished in Allamakee County. Other charges are pending further investigation.
