Audrey A. Rymarz, 75, Prairie du Chien, passed away on July 10.
She was born Jan. 29, 1939 in Milwaukee, the daughter of Erich and Adeline (Frederich) Krahn.
In Sept. 1963, Audrey married Robert J. Rymarz in Milwaukee where they started their family. They moved to Bagley in 1973 and shortly thereafter to their current residence in Prairie du Chien. Bob and Audrey co-owned and operated Jellystone Campground in Bagley for more than 23 years. Audrey also owned her Prairie du Chien clothing store, L.A. Fashions, from the mid-1990s until 2010. Audrey loved working with people and making friends through her time at the campground or by helping customers pick out the perfect outfit in her clothing store. She enjoyed collecting Fiesta dinnerware and thoroughly adored her four-legged family members. Audrey and Bob always had a dog at their feet throughout their 50 years of marriage. Audrey leaves behind her treasured golden retrievers, Ranger and Harley.
Audrey will be missed dearly by her husband, Bob Rymarz; her children Rick (Terry), Mike (Jackie) and Jim (Nickey); her grandchildren Cole and Jace; her sister-in-law Pat George; her niece Rene Ohm, and her nephews, Ken and Bill George. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother-in-law Ken George.
Funeral services will be Monday, July 14, at 3 p.m. at the Garrity Funeral Home Chapel, Deacon Mark Miller officiating, with burial in the Evergreen Cemetery both in Prairie du Chien. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, July 14, from 1 p.m. until the time of services.
