Wisconsin Badger Camp Open House scheduled July 13
Wisconsin Badger Camp will host its annual Open House on Sunday, July 13 from 1 to 4 p.m., with tours beginning at 1. The public is welcome to visit and learn more about what makes Wisconsin Badger Camp an enjoyable vacation spot for campers with developmental disabilities.
Visitors are invited to tour Badger Camp facilities, learn more about volunteering, participate in camp activities and share refreshments with campers and staff. Anyone interested in learning more about Wisconsin Badger Camp or experiencing what the program has to offer is encouraged to attend.
“Open House is a great opportunity for us to educate the public about Wisconsin Badger Camp and to encourage visitors to see Badger Camp in action,” Brent Bowers, executive director of Wisconsin Badger Camp, said. “Open House also gives us a chance to celebrate our accomplishments and recognize all of the great supporters of Badger Camp, who have contributed in numerous ways.”
Located 10 miles south of Prairie du Chien, Badger Camp is a private, non-profit organization that serves individuals with developmental disabilities by providing quality outdoor recreational experiences. Wisconsin Badger Camp welcomes campers regardless of age, severity of a disability, financial situation, or location.
