Man found dead on road
On July 1 at 5:05 p.m., the Crawford County Sheriff’s Department received a call from a passerby on Adams Road in rural Clayton Township that there was an unresponsive man lying on Adams Road next to a parked vehicle. North Crawford Rescue and Sheriff’s deputies responded and found Joshua G. Krambeer, 33, rural Soldiers Grove, deceased lying face down on the roadway. Krambeer’s vehicle was parked on the shoulder of the road near Krambeer’s body. Krambeer was pronounced dead at the scene by Coroner Joe Morovits.
An autopsy was performed on July 2 at the UW Hospital in Madison. Preliminary autopsy results indicated that Krambeer had a severely blocked main artery in his heart. The evidence at the scene indicated that Krambeer was alone at the time of his death and no foul play is suspected.
