Mill Coulee gets 3 inches in an hour

Pictured is what remains of a driveway on Mill Coulee Road north of Prairie du Chien after Sunday night’s heavy rainfall and wind. According to the reports from a homeowner on Mill Coulee Road, around three inches of rain fell in 45 minutes to an hour Sunday around 10 p.m. The National Weather Service of La Crosse stated that water was backing up on the road around 10:20. Also, streets were flooded in Prairie du Chien and there was a possible mudslide on Highway 60 in Crawford County. Do you have storm photos you would like to share with the Courier?
