Curtis Duanne Nuehring, 70, passed away May 28, 2014, at his home in Camden, TN. Curtis was born on May 29, 1943, in Clayton County, IA to Frederick Nuehring and Vivian Canoe Nuehring. He was preceded in death by his father and his brother, Ronald Nuehring. Curtis was a Water Well Driller for 40 years and then was the City Water Superintendent for Farmersburg and St. Olaf until his retirement.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia Palmer Nuehring of Camden, TN; a son, Kurt F. Nuehring of Evergreen, CO; two daughters, Karensa Lee (Choo Y.) of Franklin, TN and Shantel Liddy (Joseph) of Indianapolis, IN; his mother, Vivian Canoe Nuehring of Farmersburg, IA; three sisters, Carol Tuley (Wiley), Cedar Rapids, IA; Sharon Shurson (Dennis), Rochester, MN; and Stewart (Daniel) of St. Olaf, IA; and four grandchildren, Kathryn Lee, Michael Lee, Carter Liddy, Clayton Liddy
He will be interred at Swede Ridge Cemetery in Northeast Iowa. The community is invited to a reception celebrating Curt’s life at 4 p.m., Friday June 6th, at Farmersburg Community Center.
