“This meet is always a season high point for us,” Coach Martha Bauder said. “We almost always turn the season around at this meet with lots of personal records and season bests. Usually we can place a little better because in years past we competed against schools our size. But this year we competed against all teams and actually finished a very strong 7th—only seven points out of 5th place.”
“Our girls did an excellent job against the stiff competition and recorded 18 personal records and nine season best event marks,” she continued. Overall it was a very good team booster for everyone and hopefully will jump start the end of the season where we will steadily need to keep improving in order to get a good picture of how we will approach the conference, district and state meets in May,” she added.
